Consistently ranked in the Top 10 nationally this year, the Bears have won three tournaments - the Centre College Classic, the WashU Spring Invite and Illinois Wesleyan's Kathy Niepagan Spring Fling.
Twenty-six conferences earned automatic qualifiers to the championships, with eight teams picking up at-large bids.
The championships will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. Following 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams and the top six individuals not on one of those teams to compete in the final two rounds. In the team competition, the low four scores from each team for each day will count in the team's total score.
The championships will be conducted May 19-22 at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges will serve as host.
