Nagy Finishes 36th in 400 IM at NCAA Championships

ATLANTA – Brown sophomore Marton Nagy made his NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships debut on Thursday at the McAuley Aquatic Center, finishing 36th in the 400 IM with a time of 3:49.47. The time was Nagy's eighth sub-3:50 mark in the event.

ATLANTA – Brown sophomore Marton Nagy made his NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships debut on Thursday at the McAuley Aquatic Center, finishing 36th in the 400 IM with a time of 3:49.47. The time was Nagy's eighth sub-3:50 mark in the event.

Nagy won gold in the 400 IM for the second consecutive season at the Ivy League Championship and holds the program record in the event (3:41.89). He is scheduled to compete in the 200 IM prelims on Saturday, March 28, at 10 a.m., with finals concluding the four-day meet at 6 p.m. His 1:42.26 is the 20th-fastest 200 IM time in NCAA Division I this season.
