Nagy Heads to Atlanta for NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship

ATLANTA – Brown sophomore Marton Nagy is set to compete at the 2026 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech. Nagy will represent the Bears in the 400-yard individual medley on Thursday, March 26, before swimming the 200-yard individual medley on Saturday, March 28.

ATLANTA – Brown sophomore Marton Nagy is set to compete at the 2026 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech. Nagy will represent the Bears in the 400-yard individual medley on Thursday, March 26, before swimming the 200-yard individual medley on Saturday, March 28.

Nagy secured an automatic qualifier for the national meet after winning the 400 IM at the Ivy League Championships for the second consecutive year. He claimed the gold with a program-record time of 3:41.89, earning First Team All-Ivy honors. He also posted a standout performance in the 200 IM at the conference championships, clocking in at 1:42.26, another Brown program record. The mark met the NCAA standard and currently stands as the 20th-fastest time in Division I swimming this season, garnering him Second Team All-Ivy recognition.

Preliminary heats for the NCAA Championships begin at 10 a.m. each day, with the evening finals sessions scheduled for 6 p.m. Live results can be found by clicking here. All sessions will be streamed live on ESPN+.
