Men’s Golf Earns Three Selections to NCAA Division III PING All-Region II Team
The NCAA Division III PING All-Region Teams were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), with players from 58 schools across seven regions earning honors for the 2025-26 season.
Three members of the NYU men's golf team earned Region II recognition for the Violets.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan, Qi (Steven) Liu, and Oscar Uribe were each named to the Region II Team following standout performances throughout the season.
Luangtana-anan consistently contributed throughout the season, highlighted by a tie for fourth at the Liberty League Championship, a tie for ninth at the Skidmore Fall Invitational and a 10th-place finish at the RPI Men's Collegiate Invitational.
Liu posted several top finishes during the year, including a tie for second place at the RPI Men's Collegiate Invitational. He also tied for seventh at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational and tied for 14th at the Skidmore Fall Invitational. Liu was also named Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Oct. 7, 2025.
Uribe earned All-Region honors after a standout season that included a second-place finish at the Liberty League Championship. He also recorded top-15 finishes at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational and RPI Men's Collegiate Invitational. At the Liberty League Championship, Uribe set the program's 54-hole scoring record with a 208 (-8).
The Violets also set a program record for lowest one-day team score at the Liberty League Championship, posting a 280 (-8).
The trio helped lead NYU throughout the 2025-26 season, including a team title at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational and a second-place finish at the Liberty League Championship.
