PHILADELPHIA – The Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Penn Relays from Thursday to Saturday, turning in multiple impressive performances.

PHILADELPHIA – The Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Penn Relays from Thursday to Saturday, turning in multiple impressive performances.

"It was a great weekend of track & field for the Big Green at the historic Penn Relays. We had the opportunity to compete against some of the nation's best teams. It was a productive learning experience for our student-athletes." Mike Nelson, the Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country, said.

Jack Tan finished second overall in the pole vault with a 5.02m mark, while Sam Starrs placed fifth after clearing 4.87m.

Noe Kemper placed 11th overall in the 3000m steeplechase championship, finishing the race in 8:49.89. The men's 4x400m, consisting of Winston Morgan, Jack Inglis, J'Voughnn Blake and Jack Rousseau, put themselves at sixth all-time in program history with a 3:11.09 finish.

On the women's side, Mariella Schweitzer, Veronika Simova, Jada Jones and Andie Murray finished the women's spring medley relay in fifth place with a 3:51.66 mark. The men's sprint medley relay of Luke Rives, Rousseau, Morgan and Rozkydalek finished eighth with a 3:21.75 mark.
