**PRINCETON, N.J. –**The men's swimming and diving team impressed on the third day of the Ivy League Championship, Friday, swimming multiple lifetime bests and earning times in the program's all-time top ten.
Prelims kicked off with the 100-yard butterfly, as
Andrew Chouled the way, finishing tenth overall to qualify for the b-final.
William McClellandtied for 14
thoverall, giving the Big Green three swimmers in the B-final.
Aiden Sandvigqualified for the C-final for the Big Green, both swimming faster than their seed time. Sandvig's time of 47.62 is not only a lifetime best, but also ranks him sixth overall in program history.
In the 400-yard IM,
Jacob Turnerswam the third fastest time in prelims, to qualify for the a-final.
David Galswam just under two seconds faster than his seed time to finish 12
thoverall, claiming a spot in the B-final.
Jihoon Jungqualified for the final B-final spot, swimming a 3:53.16.
Reed Wallaceclaimed the final C-final spot for the Big Green, while
Ronan Faheyfinished just outside the qualifying time, despite swimming a lifetime best.
The Big Green placed three swimmers in the B-final of the 200-yard freestyle,
Isaac Weigel, Dvoretskiy, and
Colton Rasmussen, all swimming faster than their seed times.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, the Big Green were led by
David Kushnirsky, who claimed the top spot in the C-final, swimming a 54.85.
Chou led the way for Dartmouth in the 100-yard backstroke, claiming fourth overall and a spot in the A-final with a time of 46.24, setting a team record. Rasmussen and
Andy Petersonalso qualified for the Big Green, later swimming in the C-final. Peterson swam a huge lifetime best, thanks to a time of 48.13.
Wallace also competed in the 100 back, but finished just shy of qualifying for the finals. Despite that, his swim was a lifetime best that now ranks tenth overall in program history.
The finals kicked off with the 1000-yard freestyle, as Dartmouth was led by
Tommy Erwinwho finished in 9:13.82.
Xavier Orlicswam a lifetime best 9:35.20, over five seconds faster than his seed time, as both Erwin and Orlic scored c-final points for Dartmouth. Fahey also swam the 1000 free finishing in 9:35.65.
Chou finished at the top of the B-final for the Big Gren in the 100 butterfly, posting a time of 46.78. Dvoretskiy was right on his tail, finishing in 47.02. Both Stachitaris and Sandvig scored c-final points for Dartmouth, finishing in 47.57 and 47.81 respectively.
The Big Green impressed in the 400 IM finals. Turner earned bronze thanks to a time of 3:44.39, swimming a lifetime best, tying the school record, and swimming well under the NCAA Division I standard time.
Gal won the B-final, jumping four spots from his prelim time. Jung also jumped in the standings, finishing third in the B-final with a time of 3:49.72. Both Gal and Jung swam lifetime bests as Gal's time ranks second in program history and Jung's third.
Reed also finished the 400-yard IM in the C-final, finishing in 3:59.28.
Dvoretskiy and Weigel went one and two in the C-final, scoring points for the Big Green. Rasmussen also scored thanks to a lifetime best 1:38.23.
The Big Green were led by Kushirksy in the 100 breast as he won the C-final.
In the 100 backstroke, Chou placed fifth overall in the A-final, finishing in 46.27, finishing under the NCAA DI standard. Rasmussen finished second in the c-final, as he and Peterson scored points for the Big Green.
The swim portion of finals on Friday wrapped with the 400-yard medley relay. Turner swam a lifetime best split to lead the Big Green to a time of 3:12.15, breaking a team record 13 years old.

McCoy Lymanset a team record in prelims and is seeded first headed into the A-final dive on Saturday.
