WEST POINT, N.Y.– The psych sheets are out and Army West Point swimming & diving joins the nation's top swimming & diving programs in their preparations for the 2026 NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by Georgia Tech at the McAuley Aquatic Center.
Army is sending its first women's swimmers to the meet since joining the Patriot League in 1990 as seniors

Catriona Gilmoreand sophomore
Angie McKanepunched their ticket to the national meet with wins at the 2026 Patriot League Championships last month.
Army opened their time at the 2026 Patriot League Championships with a program, meet, and league record in the women's 200 medley relay as
Sydney Braeger, and
Tiana Meschercombined for a 1:38.37 to win the event before getting right back to work in the women's 800 free relay as
Molly Webber, and
Sydney Braegerlogged a 7:13.83 to finish first overall.
Molly Webberthen dominated the women's 500 free preliminaries and followed it up with a historic performance in the finals on day two with a time of 4:42.07 to claim first place, set a new program record, league record, and meet record, and qualify for the 2026 NCAA Championships.
Army wrapped up the second day with back-to-back first place finishes in the 400 medley relay as
Sydney Braeger, and
Molly Webberclocked a 3:34.27 for the women followed by Johnny Crush, Kohen Rankin, Maxwell Jordan, and Thomas Hadji clocking a 3:04.17 for the men.
Both squads set meet and Lejeune Hall records in the relays with additional program and Patriot League records for the women.
Angie McKane'sleadoff time of 52.53 in the leadoff leg of the women's race set a new program record for the women's 100 back.
McKane set the bar high on day three with a first place finish in the women's 100 fly to kick things off with a program record, meet record, Lejeune Hall record and NCAA Qualifying time of 51.34.
Webber earned her second individual champion title of the week with a 1:46.38 in the women's 200 free to secure her third consecutive title for the event.
Catriona Gilmoreput on a strong showing in the women's 100 breast, clocking a 1:00.12 to tie Army's program record and punch her ticket to Atlanta.
McKane returned to the water for the women's 100 back where she clocked a 52.83 to secure her second individual champion title of the day. Before returning to the water with
Cora Webber, and
Molly Webberto record a time of 1:30.76 to claim first place and set a new program record, Patriot League record, and meet record in the women's 200 free relay.
The Black Knights continued to set a fast pace on the final day of the league championships as
Molly Webberearned first place in the women's 1650 free with a time of 16:31.72 to kick off the day with a win and
Angie McKanecarried the momentum into the 100 free with a 48.85 to earn her third individual win of the meet.
Catriona Gilmorebecame the third swimmer from Army's women's team to punch her ticket for the national meet as she clocked a 2:10.28 to win the women's 200 breast.
Army's women's 400 free relay team went to work to round out the Black Knights' performances at the Patriot League Championships a win as
Sydney Braeger, and
Molly Webbercombined for a 3:19.86 to win the event and secure Army's sweep of the women's relay events – led off by McKane's program record setting 48.84.

Catriona Gilmorewill kick things off for Army's women at the national championships on Thursday, March 19 as McKane competes in the 100 butterfly and Gilmore takes on the 100 breaststroke. The 100 butterfly preliminary heats begin at 10 a.m. ET with the finals to follow at 6:06 p.m. ET. The 100 breaststroke preliminaries are set for 11:02 a.m. ET with the finals set for 7:03 p.m. ET.
All three women's swimmers will compete for Army on Friday, March 20 as McKane competes in the 100 backstroke (10 a.m. preliminaries, 6:06 p.m. finals), Gilmore competes in the 200 breaststroke (10:15 a.m. preliminaries, 6:15 p.m. finals), and
Molly Webbercompetes in the 500 freestyle (10:35 a.m. preliminaries, 6:52 p.m. finals).
