NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale men's basketball captain

Nick Townsend has been selected to participate in the 2026 NABC Reese's Division I All-Star game, announced on Tuesday.

The Reese's College All-Star Game features top senior student-athletes from NCAA Division I competing on the NCAA Final Four floor.

Townsend is the only student-athlete from the Ivy League to secure a place on the roster.

Townsend, the reigning Ivy League Player of the Year, delivered an exceptional senior campaign. He led Yale in scoring with 16.3 points per game, placing eighth in the conference, while also ranking third in rebounds (7.4 per game) and second in assists (4.3 per game). The Chappaqua, New York native scored in double figures in 28 games and recorded five double-doubles. A two-time First Team All-Ivy honoree, Townsend has earned Ivy League Player of the Week honors twice this season, was named USBWA Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week, and is a finalist for the College Insider Nolan Richardson and Lou Henson Awards.

The All-Star Game will take place on Friday, April 3 at 3:30 p.m. ET at Lucas Oil Stadium as part of Reese's Final Four Friday. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network, and admission to the game and Reese's Final Four Friday is free.
