Kylee Sweet has earned a place on the All-Patriot League Softball Second Team announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Starting every game at first base in 2026, Sweet has put together the best season of her career. She is currently leading the team with a .349 batting average with a .951 OPS. The Economics major has 18 extra-base hits through 50 games with 23 RBI.

Most recently, the Escondido, Calif. native helped lead the Leopards to a series win over archrival Lehigh and in the process pushed Lafayette to qualify for the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2012.

No. 4 seed Lafayette will open Patriot League Tournament play on Thursday at No. 1 seed and host Boston U at noon. Depending upon the outcome, Lafayette will play either Colgate or Army at 11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. on Friday, part of the event's double-elimination format.

Three Bantams Earn Softball All-Conference Status

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College softball team had three Bantams earn New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference honors. Senior center fielder Abby Alper earned First Team honors, while junior third baseman Emily Goddard and catcher/first baseman Makenna True were named to the Second Team. Alper became the 22nd player in program history to earn First Team All-Conference honors, while Goddard became the 33rd and True the 34th player in program history to receive Second Team All-Conference recognition.
