Lehigh Set to Face Holy Cross in Patriot League Championship Sunday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The No. 4-seeded Lehigh Mountain Hawks will take on the No. 2-seeded Holy Cross Crusaders on Sunday at noon at Hart Center Arena on CBS Sports Network.

Lehigh will compete in the Patriot League Championship game for the second straight season. In 2025, the Mountain Hawks defeated Army 74-62 in the Patriot League Championship at Stabler Arena.

Lehigh enters Sunday's matchup after defeating Loyola 68-54 in the quarterfinals at Stabler Arena. The Mountain Hawks then defeated Navy in overtime on the road at Alumni Hall in Annapolis, Md., on Thursday night.

In the semifinal victory, the No. 4-seeded Mountain Hawks knocked off the No. 1-seeded Midshipmen 81-76 in overtime in the Patriot League semifinals.

As a team, Lehigh connected on 13-of-34 shots from 3-point range, one shy of the season high of 14 made 3-pointers, a mark the Mountain Hawks reached twice earlier this season.

Holy Cross defeated Colgate in the quarterfinals 72-36 and then defeated Army 61-55 in the semifinals.

Lehigh and Holy Cross have played twice this season, with the Mountain Hawks defeating the Crusaders both times.

The teams also met last season in the Patriot League semifinals, when Lehigh won 65-44. Lehigh and Holy Cross previously met in the 2001 Patriot League championship game, with Holy Cross earning an 86-64 victory.
