HADLEY, Mass. - For the first time in her collegiate career, senior

Ellie Fitzgerald of the Williams College women's track & field team earned NESCAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors from the conference office Tuesday morning.

Fitzgerald, a senior from Montclair, New Jersey, tallied a mark of 3.75 meters to the win the pole vault event during the Emory Spring Break Classic on Friday and Saturday at the Woodruff PE Center Stadium in Atlanta. The exceptional performance ranks second in NCAA Division III during the first week of the outdoor season.

INDIANAPOLIS - After earning one gold and two silver medals during the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC)/NESCAC Championship Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts, the No. 3-ranked Williams College women's crew team earned a spot in the NCAA Division III Championship on May 29-30 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia.
