MEDFORD, MA (May 3, 2026) -- The Tufts University men's lacrosse team, recent winners of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) crown, will host the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament Second and Third Rounds on Bello Field Saturday and Sunday, May 9-10 in Medford.
The Jumbos (17-1) will play the winner of Wednesday's First Round contest in Nashua, NH between Rivier University (18-0) and Rhodes College (11-6) Saturday afternoon at 4:30 PM in the NCAA Second Round. Middlebury College (8-7) and Dickinson College (15-3) will play the second Second Round game of the day at 7:30 p.m.
The winners of Saturday's games will play Sunday at 7:30 p.m. on Bello Field. Tufts will be very familiar with three of the four teams it could possibly play, as the Jumbos played Middlebury College twice this season while knocking off both Rhodes College and Dickinson College in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Middlebury and Dickinson both earned Pool C "at-large" bids into the NCAA Tournament field, while Rivier was the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) automatic qualifier.
It marks the fourth time in the last five seasons Tufts will open the NCAA Tournament on Bello Field. Furthermore, Tufts is one of eight NESCAC squads in the field.
