Helm Earns NESCAC Rookie of the Year To Highlight Five On All-NESCAC Squads
MEDFORD, MA (May 5, 2026) - The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) announced the 2026 Women's Lacrosse All-NESCAC squads Tuesday afternoon, and first-year Eleanor Helm was tabbed as the conference's Rookie of the Year to highlight five Jumbos on the two squads.

Eleanor Helm was tabbed as the conference's Rookie of the Year to highlight five Jumbos on the two squads.
Helm was also picked as an All-NESCAC First Team honoree at attack, while senior teammate
Allie Zorn was selected as a First Team member as well. Seniors
Elsa Schutt and
Nicola Donlan were Second Team selections along with junior
Schuyler Lloyd. The five All-NESCAC honorees tied with Middlebury College for the most of any league school.
Helm is the fourth Jumbo to be voted NESCAC Rookie of the Year and the first since 2019. The first-year attack leads Tufts in scoring with 75 points (3rd in the NESCAC) on 39 goals and a team-high 36 assists, which ranks second among the conference leaders. Helm helped the Jumbos reach the NESCAC Semifinals and earn an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Zorn picked up her third All-NESCAC award in her amazing Tufts career, as she was a First Team pick in 2025 while earning Second Team in 2024. Zorn leads the Jumbos with 48 goals this year, while adding 11 free position goals. Zorn also has added 19 ground balls and two of her goals have been game-winners.
Lloyd has enjoyed a breakout junior campaign as she is second on the team in goals and assists with 42 and 29, respectively. Her 71 points are the second-most on the team, while adding 16 ground balls in 17 starts. Donlan has been the leader of the Jumbos defense this season, as she is second on the squad with 13 caused turnovers while her 29 ground balls are the second-most as well. Donlan also has started all 17 games this year.
Schutt picks up her first All-NESCAC honor after posting a team-high 80 draw controls this year while adding eight goals, 14 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. She also scored the game-winning goal in an 11-10 overtime win over Wesleyan earlier this year.
Middlebury's Caroline Adams was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year, while Wesleyan's Lindsey Diomede was named the Defensive Player of the Year. The Middlebury staff was selected as the Coaching Staff of the Year by its peers.
