Ullrick and Oberting Capture All-Conference Men's Hockey Honors
MEDFORD, MA (March 3, 2026) – Junior wingman Ethan Ullrick and junior defenseman Sylas Oberting of the Tufts University men's hockey team were selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference first and second teams, respectively, announced today.

Sylas Oberting of the Tufts University men's hockey team were selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference first and second teams, respectively, announced today.
This is the first All-Conference awards for both Ullrick and Oberting. The 2025-26 season was the debut campaign for Ullrick.
Ethan Ullrick, F, All-NESCAC First Team
Ullrick led the Jumbos and the conference through the NESCAC Tournament quarterfinal round in scoring with 30 points on 12 goals and 18 assists. The 12 goals stand alone for the team lead, while the 18 assists are tied for first on the Jumbos and tied for third in the NESCAC. The winger also paced Tufts with five game-winning goals and three power-play goals.
In conference play, the Illinois native collected 23 points on nine goals and 14 assists which both led the Jumbos. His three power-play markers were the most on the team against NESCAC opponents. In the final 11 contests of the regular season, Ullrick registered an impressive 17 points on eight goals and nine assists.
Sylas Oberting, D, All-NESCAC Second Team
Oberting finished second amongst Jumbo defensemen in scoring with seven points on three goals and four assists. The defenseman also ranked second on the team and tied for 12
th in the NESCAC in plus/minus with a +11 mark. His 22 blocked shots were tied for fourth on Tufts.
In NESCAC action, Oberting tallied four total points with two goals and two assists which tied for third amongst defensemen on the Jumbos. His plus-six rating tied for fourth overall on the team in plus/minus in conference play. The junior also finished tied for third overall in blocked shots with 19.
Tufts' season came to an end in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament against Williams and finished the year with a 12-12-1 record overall.
