Women's Hockey Duo Earns All-NESCAC End of Year Honors

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's ice hockey team had a pair of players recognized with all-conference awards at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
Senior defender
Emma Merrill (Portland, Maine) was named First Team All-NESCAC and junior forward
Luna Lu (Ottawa, Ont.) earned a second team nod.
Merrill earned post-season accolades for the second straight year after landing a second team honor in 2025. The senior defender tallied two goals and four assists, with both goals being game-winners. Merrill was second on the team in blocked shots (19) and appeared in every game the Polar Bears played this season.
Lu was named Second Team All-NESCAC for the first time in her career following a 17-point junior season. Lu tallied a team-leading 12 goals and added five assists. The junior's season goal tally ranked fourth in the conference. Lu excelled on special teams with a power play goal and short-handed goal and a team-leading three game-winners. The forward was third on the team in blocked shots, right behind Merrill, with 18.
