Seven Hamilton College athletes will compete in the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at IU Indianapolis' IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind., where they will be held from Wednesday, March 18 through Saturday, March 21.

Student-athletes qualified for the swimming portion of the championships by meeting the established minimum time for the events in which they entered. Five swimmers from the Hamilton women's team, including a relay, and two swimmers from the men's team earned the right to compete in this year's championships.

The women's 200-yard freestyle relay featuring

Chloe Lan '28 (Arnold, Md./Broadneck HS), Jade Matthias '26 (Reading, Pa./Mercersburg Academy), Carolyn Miner '27 (Manchester, Conn./Manchester HS) and

Paige Wielgus '28 (Pocasset, Mass./Sturgis Charter) will be in Indianapolis. Matthias also posted championship-qualifying performances in the 50 free and the 100 backstroke.

Charlotte Sorensen '28 (West Hartford, Conn./Loomis Chaffee School), who made a qualifying time in the 400 individual medley, was originally on the list of alternates for the championships but eventually worked her way into the meet.

On the men's side,

Nathaniel Taft '27 (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde HS) earned selection for the 50 and 100 free.

Matthew Chang '28 (Leonia, N.J./Leonia HS) joined Taft in the championships based on his performance in the 100 back.

A championships preview will be available earlier in the week leading up to the event.
