**HARTFORD, Conn. **– Trinity College junior Charlotte Murphree has punched her ticket to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, marking her second consecutive appearance on the national stage.

Murphree secured her spot with a qualifying time of 2:18.79 in the 200-yard breaststroke at the February Invitational. A year ago, she entered the NCAA Championships seeded 21st in the event, this year the Bantam moved up and is seeded 17th. To earn All-America honors, Murphree must finish among the top 16 in the field.

"We are really looking forward to heading to NCAAs in Indianapolis with Charlotte again this year! Following her incredible year last year, Charlotte needed to undergo shoulder surgery which left a lot of uncertainty on if we would be able to make it back to the national stage again. Not only did she make it back this year, but she is seeded higher than last year in the 200 breast! Her resilience, drive and dedication to recovery is what her to this point and I'm excited to see what she can do with a few more weeks of training." - Head Coach Hannah Hagy

In addition to the 200 breaststroke, Murphree is slated to compete in the 100-yard breaststroke, where she enters the meet seeded 33rd.

The 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships will take place March 18–21 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Franklin College, the Indiana Sports Corporation, and the IU Natatorium will serve as hosts. A total of 579 competitors (526 swimmers and 53 divers) will participate in this year's championship meet.
