Women's Crew Sets The Tone for Colby in Exciting Season Opener

Worcester, Mass - #12 Colby Crew made the trip down to Worcester this weekend for their season opener, competing for the Jennifer McLaughlin Cup with #4 Smith, #6 Wesleyan, and WPI. Lake Quinsigamond greeted the team with partly sunny skies, moderate temps, and a tailwind that made for quick conditions. The Mules came ready to throw down, and throw down they did. Colby Women's Crew swept WPI and won the first varsity race. They returned to Maine with the Jennifer McLaughlin Cup for the first time since 2007.
