Women's lacrosse's Caroline Keating named second team All-NESCAC

Caroline Keating is a second team All-NESCAC selection, as announced Tuesday by the New England Small College Athletic Conference.

Keating (Rye, N.Y.) is the first Bobcat to pick up All-NESCAC honors in women's lacrosse since

Jordyn Tveter '22 in 2022.

A do-everything player, Keating ranked seventh in the NESCAC in draw controls per game (4.00), eighth in ground balls per game (2.44), and tied with classmate

Lauren Wong (Walpole, Mass.) for 13th in the conference in goals per game (1.88) this season. She tallied 40 points while also causing 15 turnovers for the Bobcats.

Keating finishes her Bates career having accumulated 97 points (77 goals, 20 assists), 106 ground balls, 49 caused turnovers, and 211 draw controls.

The Bobcats won seven games for the second straight year while also making the NESCAC tournament for the second straight season, falling in the quarterfinal to national powerhouse Middlebury.
