Women's Tennis Closes Out Campaign With 6-1 Loss at Connecticut College

The Camels took control early, sweeping all three doubles matches to earn the opening point. The Bobcats' closest push came at No. 2 doubles, where seniors

Isabella Saul and

Grace LaFountain battled to a 7–5 decision in the duo's final collegiate match as a tandem.

In singles play, Saul delivered Bates' lone point of the afternoon at No. 2. The senior earned a straight-sets victory, 6–2, 7–6, closing out her career with a win.

Several other matches extended deep into competition.

Emelyn Harris forced a third set at No. 3 singles (5-7, 6-3, 1-0), while

Avni Bakre (7-6, 2-6, 4-6) and LaFountain (2-6, 6-3, 0-1) each pushed their matches to three sets at No 4 and 6, respectively. The Camels (7-9, 2-6 NESCAC) secured the remaining points with straight-set victories at No. 1 and 5.

The garnet and white finishes with an overall mark of 2-14 (1-9 NESCAC).
