#11 Wrestling Tallies Nine Scholar All-Americans; Finishes with Ninth-Best Team GPA

MANHEIM, Pa. -- The 14th-ranked University of Chicago wrestling team earned the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Team Scholar Award and placed nine student-athletes on the 2026 NCAA Division III Scholar All-America Team, as announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association last week.

The Maroons are one of 30 teams to earn the Team Scholar Award with a team GPA of 3.7032 which ranks ninth amongst all teams in Division III.

In addition to the Team Scholar Award, nine Maroons earned Individual Scholar All-American honors. Nationwide, 473 student-athletes from 105 institutions earned Scholar All-America distinction for their work in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
