No. 7 Golf Finishes Third at Deb Jackson Invitational to Conclude Regular Season

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. – In the final regular-season tournament, the No. 7 Washington University in St. Louis golf team finished third at the Deb Jackson Invitational, hosted by Emory. The Bears finished with a two-day score of 606 (300, 306). The tournament was held at the West Pines Golf Club in Douglasville, Ga.

Athena Nguyen and junior

Amy Beanblossom tied for ninth, each with a 149 (75, 74).

First-year

Saxon Skinner tied for 11

th with a 150 (74, 76) while junior

Nicole McGuire finished in a four-way tie for 13

th with a 151 (72, 79).

Jessy Young finished 17

th with a 152 (75, 77) and senior

Tiffany Chan tied for 23

rd with a 156 (75, 81).

First-year

Angela Chen tied for 30

th with a 160 (81, 79) and junior

Reagan Robinson tied for 34

th with a 162 (75, 87).

Sophomore

Mabrie McMahan tied for 40

th with a 165 (85, 80).

The NCAA field will be announced via a press release on May 11. The NCAA Championships run May 19-22 at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Springs, Calif.
