BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The No. 7 Washington University in St. Louis golf team sits atop the standings with a 296 following the first day of Illinois Wesleyan's Kathy Niepagan Spring Fling. The tournament is being held at the Ironwood Golf Course, which is a par-72 course spanning 5,823 yards.

Athena Nguyen is in second, carding a 71 in round one. Junior

Amy Beanblossom is tied for sixth with a 74.

Saxon Skinner is tied for 10

th with a 75 and senior

Tiffany Chan is tied for 12

th with a 76.

Reagan Robinson and first-year

Jessy Young are in an 11-way tie with a 78.

Sophomore

Nicole McGuire is tied for 39

th with an 80 and first-year Angelo Chen is tied for 69

th with an 84. Sophomore

Mabrie McMahan is tied for 97

th with an 89.
