All-UAA Basketball Honors Announced
The Universty Athletic Association (UAA) recognized both the New York University's men's and women's basketball teams in postseason honors.

On the women's side, senior
Caroline Peper was named UAA Player of the Year while
Brooke Batchelor was name Defensive Player of the Year.
Peper, who was named UAA Rookie of the Year in 2022-23 season, leads the team in minutes played (708), field goals made (155), three-pointers made (94), and overall points (445). She has put up 10 20+ point games this season, including a career-high 41 points against USMMA on November 30.
Batchelor has started every game for the Violets this season, and has played the second-most minutes (702). She leads the team with 74 steals and is second in rebounds (150).
Both Peper and Batchelor were also selected First Team All-UAA.
Zahra Alexander and
Yasmene Clark were named Second Team, while
Aila Kaibara earned Honorable Mention.

Annie Barrett were named UAA Coaching Staff of the Year. Barber and her staff led the Violets to its third consecutive undefeated regular season (25-0) and fifth consecutive UAA Championship.
On the men's side, both
Carnegie Johnson and
Luke Kolaja were named Second Team All-UAA, while
Darren Rubin received Honorable Mention.
Johnson leads the team in points (364), assists (97), and steals (34). Kolaja holds the team lead for blocks (20) and is second in total rebounds (124).
The women host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament this Friday and Saturday, with the Violets facing University of Maine Farmington on Friday at 7:45pm at the John A. Paulson Center.
The men will take to the road and face Gettysburg College at 3:45pm in their first-round match-up on Friday. That contest will be hosted by Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.
