Hartjes, Plachta, & Schorr Receive All-UAA Honors
Case Western Reserve University junior guard Mya Hartjes, senior guard/ forward Emily Plachta, and junior forward Maura Schorr were named to the All-University Athletic Association Women's Basketball Team for their play during the 2025-26 season.

Hartjes earned a spot on the All-UAA First Team, marking the second all-conference honor of her career after securing a place on the second team as a sophomore last season. Plachta, who was named to the Second Team, and Schorr, who was named an honorable mention, received the first All-UAA honors of their respective careers.
Hartjes led all UAA players during the season with 99 total assists (85th among DIII players) and 4.0 assists per game (75th among DIII players). She was also second in the conference and 14th in Division III with a 41.0% mark from three-point range during the campaign, the second-highest percentage by a player in program history. She averaged 15.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, both the seventh-highest totals in the league. In the team's 14 conference games, she averaged 15.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. Hartjes scored in double figures in all but three games during the campaign and posted three double-doubles during the year, two of which came against WashU. She scored a career-high 25 points against Oberlin on December 29 and collected a career-best 14 rebounds against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on November 8. She dished out a career-high nine assists in a win over Thiel on November 22. Hartjes was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Baldwin Wallace Holiday Classic in December.
Plachta led the team and was fifth in the UAA with 15.7 points per game, shooting 38.6% overall and 33.1% from behind the three-point line. She was sixth in the league with 7.0 rebounds per game, while ranking third with 1.3 blocks and 21st with 1.2 steals per contest. Plachta finished sixth in the league in points (15.1) and rebounds (6.9), and fourth in blocks (1.1) over the team's 14 UAA games. She was named the Most Valuable Player at the MSOE STEM Classic to open the campaign and was selected to the Baldwin Wallace Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team. Plachta scored a career-high 31 points during the team's season-ending win over Carnegie Mellon and totaled five double-doubles during the year.
Schorr started all 25 games during the season and averaged career-best marks with 11.2 points (13th in the UAA) and a team-high 7.4 rebounds (fourth in the UAA) per game. She finished the year shooting 44.0% from the floor, 21.1% from three-point range, and 66.7% from the free throw line. Schorr's 1.9 steals per game ranked fifth among UAA players during the campaign, while her 1.0 blocks per contest were sixth among league players. In the team's 14 UAA games, she averaged 13.6 points (11th in the conference), 8.5 rebounds (third in the conference), 1.9 steals (fourth in the conference), and 1.1 blocks (fifth in the conference). Schorr led all CWRU players with seven double-doubles, including one in each of the team's final three games, and recorded a career-best 20 points against the University of Chicago on February 13. She was named the UAA Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career on February 9.
The Spartans finished the 2025-26 season with an 11-14 overall record and a 4-10 mark in UAA play, tying for sixth place in the final conference standings.
