CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving trio of

Nina Janmyr,

Sydney Lu and

Anya Mostek were named on Tuesday to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Third Team.

The three Academic All-Americans marks the most in program single-season history, besting the previous record of two back in 1987. This is also the first time the team has had an Academic All-American since 2000. Moreover, this season's three honorees nearly equaled the total the program had in its entire history (4).

At the national level, Stanford owned the most Academic All-Americans with four and the Crimson ended in a second-place tie with Virginia (3).

To be eligible for the Academic All-America team, student-athletes needed to land on the CSC Academic All-District Team, which was announced in early April, and qualify for the NCAA Championships. Those named to the Academic All-District team needed be at least a sophomore, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, compete in at least 75 percent of a team's competitions or finish in the top eight at their conference meet or participate at the NCAA Championships.
