Lanouette Named NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, Lobon Earns All-Conference Honors

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – MIT's

Ruth Lanouette was named the NEWMAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year and was joined by

Mary Lobon on the NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team as announced by the league on Wednesday.

• Lanouette became the eighth player in program history to receive Rookie of the Year accolades from the conference.

• Ranks second in the NEWMAC in steals (66) and steals per game (2.5), eighth in points (342), and ninth in points per game (13.2)

Mary Lobon

• 2025-26 NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team

• Ranks third in the NEWMAC in rebounds (243) and rebounds per game (9.3), ninth in blocks (22), and 10

th in blocks per game (0.8)
