Women’s Basketball Falls to No. 5 Smith, 67-53, on Senior Day

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 5 Smith College used a 14-5 run in the second half to create some distance before going on to defeat MIT, 67-53, in the final game of the NEWMAC women's basketball regular season on Saturday afternoon. Mary Lobon compiled a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with nine points, three assists, two steals and a block for the Engineers while Hannah Martin led all players with 15 points and added four assists and two steals for the Bears.
