Women's Lacrosse Celebrates Senior Day With 17-7 Win Over Dartmouth

April 25, 2026 | Women's Lacrosse

It was a Senior Day to remember for the Princeton Women's Lacrosse Class of 2026 as the nine members of the graduating class each had moments to cherish as they lead their team to a 17-7 win over Dartmouth at Sherrerd Field.

The victory is the fourth in a row for the Tigers and improves them to 9-6 overall and 5-2 in Ivy League games in 2026. They will move forward into the postseason and play Penn in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals at Yale on May 1 at 7 p.m.

#18 Lane Calkins: 1gb

The Tigers never trailed, taking a 1-0 lead off a Jami MacDonald goal 3:17 in. The Big Green evened the game at 1-1 via a Samantha Bennett goal 0:49 later but that was as close as Dartmouth would get.

Princeton rattled off the next six goals and eight of the next nine before the end of the half to take a 9-2 lead into the break.

In the second quarter, Ella Sloan scored a free position goal 0:37 in before a pair of Meg Morrisroe goals 1:23 apart made the score 7-1. In addition to being important goals to the team, they were historic in that the two Morrisroe goals were assisted by Haven Dora for her 150th and 151st careers assists to set the Ivy League career record which had previously been 150 set by Harvard's Caroline Mullahy from 2022-25.

The Big Green mustered a goal back via Etta Coburn with 11:38 to play in the second quarter, but Molnar and MacDonald responded with two more for the Tigers before the end of the half.
