Navy Teams Solidify First Place at ECAC Swimming & Diving Championship
The Navy swimming and diving teams solidified their first-place standings with just one day remaining at the ECAC Championship being held this weekend at Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg, Pa. The men's team has totaled 724 points to lead second-place Loyola by 332 points while the women's team is in front of Bucknell by 235 points with the 597 points amassed by the Mids.
Navy Teams in First at ECAC Championship
Each of the Navy swimming and diving teams concluded Friday's day one of the ECAC Championship in first place at the meet being held at Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg, Pa. The women's team won a pair of events and totaled 248 points and the men's team won five races en route to scoring 319 points.
Navy’s Irwin Named League Scholar-Athlete of the Year for Men’s Swimming & Diving
Navy's Ben Irwin was named this year's Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year for men's swimming and diving, the league announced today. Additionally, he was one of six from the men's and women's teams to be named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team for the sport.
Navy to Compete in ECAC Swimming and Diving Championship
The Navy swimming and diving teams will head to Lewisburg, Pa., this weekend to take part in the ECAC Championship being hosted by Bucknell. The event runs Friday through Sunday at Kinney Natatorium.
Fourth-Seeded Mids to Compete for Hoehn Cup at 2026 CSA Divisional Team Championship
The 16th-ranked and fourth-seeded Navy squash team (22-5) will face fifth-seeded and 17th-ranked Middlebury (9-8) on Friday at 6:00 pm in its opening-round match of the Hoehn Division at the 2026 College Squash Association (CSA) Divisional Team Championships held this weekend at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia. Joining Navy and Middlebury in the Hoehn Division are #13 MIT (14-5), #14 Amherst (11-6), #15 Colby (8-7), #18 Western Ontario (2-9), #19 Franklin & Marshall (12-9) and #20 Rochester (6-6) who are vying for the No. 13-20 positions in the tournament.
Navy Names Four as Athletes of the Week
Basketball players Austin Benigni and Zoe Mesuch along with swimmers Dean Jones and Lauren Walsh shared this week's Naval Academy Athletic Association Athlete-of-the-Week accolade. The two basketball teams swept Army to win the annual Star Games that were played at West Point and the swimming and diving teams both won Patriot League titles in Lejeune Hall.
