No. 17 Wesleyan Sees Season End in Sweet 16 Loss to No. 12 Tufts, 75-61
The No. 17 Wesleyan men's basketball trailed No. 12 Tufts by 22 at the half, but went on a second half run to close the deficit to four with just under nine minutes left, only to see Tufts close out a 75-61 win on Saturday night in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament in Silloway Gymnasium. The Cardinals (23-7) see their 2025-26 season come to an end in what was the second Sweet 16 trip in team history.
Hayden Myers Earns All-American Honors, Placing Fifth at the NCAA Div. III Championships
Hayden Myers '26 of the Wesleyan wrestling team wrestled his way to a podium finish and All-American honors, placing fifth at 141 pounds in the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships. Myers becomes the 10th Cardinal All-American in program history while Wesleyan has an All-American wrestler in consecutive seasons for the first time in team history.
Juliette Sullivan Takes 18th in 200m at NCAA DIII Championships
The Wesleyan women's track and field team was well represented on Friday evening at the NCAA Division III Championships as Juliette Sullivan '27 placed 18th in the women's 200m, closing the championship weekend at the Birmingham Crossplex complex.
ADITI PRASAD'21: TO BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES PHD
As a Wesleyan women's squash player turned biomedical scientist and PhD candidate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Prasad channels court-tested discipline, iterative problem solving, and reset-fast resilience into biomedical research, translating the small-margin mindset of squash into careful experimental design, reproducible stem cell models, and patient-focused work on lymphatic diseases and RASopathy signaling pathways.
