All-American Luke Stanich Finishes Third in Cleveland
Sophomore Luke Stanich wrestled back to a third place finish Saturday for Lehigh on the final day of the NCAA Wrestling Championships at Rocket Arena. Stanich won decisions over Carter Nogle of Air Force and Nebraska's Brock Hardy to cap an 18-1 sophomore season.
Stanich Falls Short in Overtime in National Semifinals
Sophomore Luke Stanich dropped an overtime heartbreaker in the national semifinals at 141, as part of a frustrating Friday night for Lehigh men's wrestling at the NCAA Championships. In addition to Stanich, three Mountain Hawks wrestled in the round of 12 for spots on the podium but Lehigh wrestlers went 0-3 in those bouts.

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - Lehigh fell to Monmouth, 72-62, Thursday evening in the first round of the WNIT. With the win, Monmouth advances to the second round and will face Cleveland State on Monday at 7 p.m. in Cleveland.

Lehigh wrestlers went 5-1 Thursday afternoon as the NCAA Championships opened up at Rocket Arena. A fall from graduate student Sheldon Seymour at 125 and a technical fall by sophomore Luke Stanich at 141 helped push the Mountain Hawks to 8.5 points, good for 11th place after Session 1.

Six Mountain Hawks Ready For NCAA Championships in Cleveland
After winning its 40th EIWA team championship and crowning five individual EIWA champions, Lehigh has qualified six wrestlers for the 95th NCAA Championships, Mar. 19-21 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. The Mountain Hawks' five individual champions were graduate student Sheldon Seymour (125), sophomores Luke Stanich (141) and Logan Rozynski (157), and seniors Max Brignola (165) and Nathan Taylor (285). Brignola won his first conference title while everyone else won their second. Rylan Rogers also qualified for the NCAA Championships with a third place finish at 184. Five of Lehigh's six qualifiers earned top 10 seeds, Lehigh's most since having five top 10 seeds in 2018.

The 16th-seeded Mountain Hawks will face the 16th-seeded Prairie View A&M Panthers in the First Four in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:40 p.m.
