D3 Week feature: Faculty Mentor Jerome Tharaud knows what it takes to be a D3 student-athlete
To most of the Brandeis community, Professor Jerome Tharaud is one of Brandeis' amazing faculty members in the English department. However, in his free time, he enjoys running, joining the Judges' track and field and cross country programs as a faculty mentor. A former University Athletic Association runner himself, at the University of Chicago, we spoke with Professor Tharaud about his experience as part of the NCAA's annual D3 Week.
Track and field records three wins at Tufts Stampede
SOMERVILLE, Mass. — The Judges spent two days at the Tufts Spring Stampede meet this weekend. Between the men and women, the Judges earned many PRs and top 10 finishes, including three event wins.
Softball splits doubleheader with Carnegie Mellon, secures series win
PITTSBURGH, PA. – The Brandeis University softball team split its doubleheader against Carnegie Mellon, opening the day with a 5-0 victory before falling 2-1 in the second game. With the split and a win in yesterday's opener, the Judges secured the overall series victory against the Tartans.

Anderson wins pole vault to lead track and field at Amherst Spring Fling
AMHERST, Mass. – The Brandeis University outdoor track and field teams had 23 top-10 finishes, including a win in the women's pole vault by senior Alisha Anderson (Boulder, Colo./Ralston Valley) as the Judges competed in the Amherst College Spring Fling on Saturday afternoon.
