This win marks Princeton's first over Cornell since 2018 and secures their third championship in four years. The Tigers are now poised for a strong NCAA tournament showing, likely earning a top seed. Earlier in the tournament, Princeton advanced to the final by overcoming Yale 12-10 in the semifinals, rallying from a four-goal deficit to secure the win.
In women's lacrosse, Princeton also emerged victorious in the Ivy League tournament, defeating Yale 12-8 on May 3. This victory marks the Tigers' seventh Ivy League tournament title, the most in conference history. Princeton's performance was highlighted by Maggie Molnar's four goals and Jami MacDonald's five-point game. The Princeton baseball team concluded its season with a series against Harvard, suffering an 11-6 defeat in their final game on May 3. The Tigers struggled to maintain momentum after falling behind early, despite efforts from Will Robbins, who recorded a two-run single. Earlier in the weekend, Princeton lost both games of a doubleheader to Harvard, ending the season with a 12-28 overall record.
On the track, the Princeton men's and women's teams participated in the Larry Ellis Invitational, showcasing strong individual performances. Alysa Carrigan set a new program record in the women's high jump, clearing 1.82 meters, while Jackson Clarke posted a personal best of 10.21 seconds in the men's 100 meters, ranking second in the program's history. The meet served as a fitting conclusion to the regular season, with several athletes achieving personal records and preparing for the upcoming Ivy League Championships.
