The New York University men's golf team concluded the Liberty League Championship with a second-place finish at Turning Stone Resort's Shenendoah Course in Verona, New York, on April 26. The Violets posted a three-day total of one-under par, trailing only the University of Rochester, which claimed the title at seven-under. Oscar Uribe led the way for NYU, finishing second overall at eight-under after a sudden-death playoff loss. Jomyuth Luangtana-anan also excelled, tying for fourth at even par, while Tanmay Chandra and Qi Liu rounded out the scoring lineup.
In track and field, both NYU men's and women's teams competed at the UAA Outdoor Championships in Cleveland, Ohio, over the weekend. The men's team finished seventh, with notable performances from Theo Udelson-Nee, who placed fourth in the 1500m final, and the 4x100m relay team, which also secured fourth place. Udelson-Nee's time of 3:54.11 marked his debut in the event. The women's team matched the men's seventh-place finish, highlighted by Alexa McMillian's second-place result in the triple jump and Emma Grunin's victory in the javelin competition, marking the team's first individual championship of the weekend.
The NYU baseball team faced a challenging series against the University of Chicago, ultimately dropping the final game 13-10 on April 26. After falling behind early, the Violets made several attempts to rally, including a four-run inning that tied the game at one point. Despite the loss, Harrison Blueweiss and Max Oliveira stood out offensively, with Oliveira recording five RBIs over the series. Earlier in the weekend, NYU was swept in a doubleheader on April 25, losing 8-4 and 10-0.
The NYU softball team hosted Emory University for a doubleheader on April 24, suffering losses of 13-0 and 5-1. The first game saw the Violets held hitless, while the second game was more competitive, with Keira D'Errico's fielder's choice providing NYU's only run. The team celebrated Senior Day, honoring Chloe Stone and Jessie Werthman before the games.
In swimming and diving, Kaley McIntyre earned the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, recognizing her academic and athletic excellence. McIntyre, a standout swimmer, capped her career with multiple national titles and was named Division III Swimmer of the Year for the third consecutive year.
