In women's lacrosse, the Yellowjackets advanced in the Liberty League Tournament with a narrow 8-7 victory over St. Lawrence University. This match marked the first home contest for Rochester in the conference tournament, and it culminated in a game-winning goal from Anna Rogers with just under three minutes remaining. Rogers' goal, her 51st of the season, was assisted by Sam Kinch, who recorded three assists in the match. The Yellowjackets will face top-seeded William Smith in the semifinals on Friday, looking to continue their postseason run.
Softball also had a strong week, highlighted by Molly Broccolo's no-hitter in a doubleheader sweep against SUNY Cortland. Broccolo's performance in the first game led to a 10-0 victory, followed by an 8-2 win in the second game, bringing Rochester's season record to 27-7. Additionally, junior Riley Laygo received recognition as the Liberty League Softball Performer of the Week after an impressive stretch at the plate, where she batted .571 with 14 RBIs over four games.
