First-year Toral Bhatt leads the Washington and Lee women's golf team to a strong finish at the ODAC Championship, claiming the individual title with a final round score of 2-under 70. Bhatt's performance marks her as the first W&L women's golfer to win the ODAC individual trophy since 2023. The Generals finished second overall, six strokes behind Randolph-Macon, with sophomore Berkeley Bundy rounding out the top five individual standings. Bhatt's consistent play throughout the tournament was pivotal, as she ended at even par for the event.
In men's lacrosse, the 15th-ranked Generals dominated Shenandoah in the ODAC quarterfinals, winning 27-8. After a slow start that saw the teams tied early, W&L went on a remarkable 14-goal run, led by first-year Luke Caldwell, who scored seven goals and added two assists. The Generals maintained control throughout, with junior Harrison Hanson contributing significantly with six goals and an assist. This victory advances W&L in the ODAC Championship, showcasing their offensive prowess and depth.
Washington and Lee's baseball team completed a three-game sweep of Regent University on Senior Day, celebrating their senior class with a pair of victories. The Generals won the first game decisively, 12-2, and took the second game 5-4, showcasing their resilience and teamwork. The senior players, who have contributed to the program's success over the years, were honored prior to the games, capping off a memorable day for the team as they prepare for the upcoming ODAC Tournament.
