The New York University women's golf team secured the Liberty League Championship with a commanding performance, finishing 21 strokes ahead of the competition. Jiayi Fu led the way, winning the individual title with a score of +3 over two rounds, earning her both the University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week and Liberty League Performer of the Week honors. Inha Jun's strong showing earned her Liberty League Rookie of the Week recognition, while Sonia Hao received an Honorable Mention. The Violets will now prepare for the NCAA Division III Championship, beginning on May 19 in Palm Desert, California.
In tennis, six members of the NYU men's and women's teams were recognized for their performances in the 2026 UAA All-Association Teams. Niklas von Hellens earned a spot on the All-UAA Second Team for First Singles, finishing the season with an 11-4 record. His teammates Louis Frowein and Boris Slesarev also made the Second Team at Third Doubles, boasting a strong 7-2 record. On the women's side, Visnja Gusavac and Victoria Wang received Second Team honors for their singles play, while Wang and Emma Kast were recognized with an Honorable Mention in Doubles.
In baseball, CJ Franchini and Kosta Mocklis were named to the All-UAA Second Team. Franchini had an impressive season, leading the conference with a .411 batting average and contributing significantly to the team's offensive efforts. Mocklis, closing out his collegiate career, not only excelled with a .339 average but also set a program record for career home runs with 22. The Violets concluded the season with 13 wins, including five against conference opponents.
