Trinity College's baseball team secured its place in the NESCAC Championship final with a 6-3 victory over Amherst College in the semifinals held at Murren Family Field on May 9. The Bantams took an early lead, with Tyler Bernstein scoring on an RBI groundout by Dylan Schnitzer in the first inning. Despite a comeback attempt by the Mammoths, which included a two-run home run, Trinity maintained its advantage with key hits from Andrew Park, who contributed two run-scoring singles. The Bantams, now 27-11, will face Tufts University for the championship title, aiming to end a 13-year title drought.
In women's lacrosse, the No. 10-ranked Bantams are preparing to host No. 17 Franklin & Marshall in the second round of the NCAA Championship on May 14. Trinity enters the match with a strong 12-5 record and a perfect home performance this season. The team boasts four All-NESCAC selections, including First Team players Samantha Hark and Grace Denious, as they look to build on their successful campaign and advance further in the tournament.
The Trinity softball team concluded its season with a 4-1 loss to Colby College in the NESCAC Tournament on May 9. The Bantams finished the season with a 20-15 overall record. Colby took an early lead, scoring four runs before Trinity managed to break through in the fourth inning with a single from senior Abby Alper. Despite the loss, the team showed resilience, with senior Kaysen Shikar delivering a strong performance in relief, allowing just two hits over 4.1 innings.
The men's golf team celebrated three players earning All-NESCAC honors following the conference championship. Spencer Korona, Charlie Mullin, and Parker Kroll received Second Team accolades, with Mullin achieving a ninth-place finish and leading the team in birdies. This recognition highlights the team's competitive spirit throughout the season, showcasing their talent and dedication on the course.
