The Trinity College baseball team has earned an at-large bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship, marking its first appearance in the tournament since 2019. With a season record of 27-13, the Bantams will compete in the Russell Sage Regional, facing Randolph-Macon in their opening game on May 15. This marks the program's 13th NCAA tournament appearance under Head Coach Bryan Adamski, following a semifinal run in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship. However, the Bantams' hopes for a championship were dashed earlier in the week as they fell to Tufts University, 15-6, and then lost to Amherst College, 13-10, in the championship elimination game.
In women's lacrosse, the No. 10 Bantams advanced to the NCAA Third Round with a 12-7 victory over No. 17 Franklin & Marshall. After trailing in the first quarter, Trinity rallied to secure the win, with standout performances from Lily Acerra, Kelsey Restivo, and Kaeley Zito, who each contributed crucial goals. The Bantams will face No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer on May 16 at Wesleyan University, aiming for a spot in the Round of 16.
The Trinity women's rowing team has also secured its place in the NCAA Division III Women's Rowing Championship, set for May 29-30 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Georgia. This follows a strong season highlighted by a first-place finish at the WPI/Clark Invitational and a fourth-place finish at the NESCAC Championship. Meanwhile, the men's rowing team has earned an automatic qualifier for the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships after a successful season, including victories at the Knecht Cup and New England Rowing Championships. They will look to reclaim the title they won last year.
In wrestling, five Bantams received All-NEWA honors, with Ty Trickle earning 2nd Team recognition and first-year Nick Ebrahimi named to the All-NEWA Rookie Team. Additionally, 14 members of the team were recognized on the NEWA All-Academic Team, showcasing their commitment to both athletics and academics. Lastly, the Trinity softball team saw three players earn All-Conference honors, with senior Abby Alper achieving First Team status and juniors Emily Goddard and Makenna True receiving Second Team recognition. Alper leaves a significant legacy, ranking among the program's all-time leaders in multiple categories, including stolen bases and slugging percentage.
