The Navy women's swimming and diving team capped an impressive performance at the ECAC Championships, securing first place with a total of 818 points, nearly 300 points ahead of the competition. The men's team also claimed victory, finishing with 995 points, a margin of nearly 400 points over the nearest rival. Individual victories on the final day included Corinne Warriner in the women's 200 breaststroke, Noah Robinson in the men's 200 breaststroke, and Evan O'Dea in the men's 200 butterfly. In recognition of their achievements, head coaches Bill Roberts and John Morrison were named men's and women's coaches of the year, respectively. Adding to the excitement, Lauren Walsh received an official invitation to compete in the NCAA Swimming Championship, set for March 18-21 at Georgia Tech, after winning the 100 breaststroke at the Patriot League Championship with a time of 59.78.
In squash, the Navy men's team concluded its season with a third-place finish in the Hoehn Cup at the College Squash Association Divisional Team Championship. The Mids, ranked 15th and seeded fourth, opened the tournament with a hard-fought 5-4 victory over fifth-seeded Middlebury, highlighted by Andrew Ko's decisive win in his first match back from injury. Although they fell to top-seeded MIT in the semifinals, Navy's performance marked their best finish in the Hoehn Cup since 2008. The Mids finished the season with a 24-6 record, showcasing their competitive spirit throughout the year.
Looking ahead, Walsh will represent Navy at the NCAA Championships, while the squash team will reflect on a strong season as they prepare for the next campaign.
