The Williams College women's basketball team has concluded its season with a notable performance in the NESCAC Championship, reaching the semifinals as the fifth seed. Sophomore guard Micah Walton has been recognized for her contributions, earning a spot on the All-NESCAC First Team. Walton averaged 15.0 points per game during the season, ranking fourth in the conference, and she was also named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) First Team of the Week after scoring 21 points in the semifinals against top-seeded Bowdoin. Junior forward Kathleen Smith received All-NESCAC Second Team honors, highlighting the Ephs' competitive spirit throughout the season, which ended with a record of 13-13.
On the ice, the Williams College men's hockey team is preparing for the NESCAC Championship semifinals, where they will face top-seeded Hamilton. The Ephs secured the sixth seed in the tournament, and first-year forward Jackson Krill has been recognized as the NESCAC Rookie of the Year for his impressive debut season, leading the team in goals and points. Sophomore Jake McManus also earned All-Conference Second Team honors. Meanwhile, the women's hockey team will compete against No. 2 Amherst in their semifinal match, with both games scheduled for March 7. Tickets for these championship rounds are available online, and the winners will advance to the finals on March 8.
