Dartmouth women's golf continues its strong spring season with a commanding victory at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, held in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Big Green finished 23 strokes ahead of second-place Navy, with Sophie Thai leading the way. Thai, the only golfer to finish under par, completed the tournament with a total score of -2 after a solid performance across all three rounds. Olivia Cong also had a noteworthy tournament, finishing tied for second overall with a +6 total. This victory marks Dartmouth's second consecutive team win, demonstrating their growing momentum as the season progresses.
In basketball, both the women's and men's teams received recognition for their academic achievements. Four members of the women's basketball team—Sierra Carson, Alexandra Eldredge, Nina Minicozzi, and Tahira Muhammad—were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, acknowledging their commitment to both athletics and academics. Meanwhile, Jackson Munro and Cam McNamee from the men's basketball team also earned similar honors, highlighting their impressive performances on the court and in the classroom. Munro had a standout season, starting all 27 games and contributing significantly to the team's defensive efforts, while McNamee made a notable impact during his sophomore year.
On the ice, the No. 8 Dartmouth men's hockey team prepares to open its NCAA Regional against No. 12 Wisconsin. This matchup marks a critical moment in their postseason journey as they aim to advance further in the tournament.
