Dunn also broke her own school record in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:23.04, finishing eighth in the final—a record-breaking performance that stands as Tufts' best since 2004. Additionally, senior Madison Hagberg placed fourth in the 200 backstroke, securing her third career All-American honor and breaking the school record in the process. The Jumbos finished 12th in the team standings, their highest placement since at least 1984, thanks to these standout performances.
On the men's side, the Tufts swimming and diving team concluded their NCAA Championships in 25th place. Junior Rafae Shafi led the Jumbos with a 19th-place finish in the 1650 freestyle, while senior Armaan Sikka closed his collegiate career with a 21st-place finish in the 100 freestyle. Junior diver Jay Wilkinson earned two honorable mention All-American awards, finishing 13th in three-meter diving and 12th in one-meter diving, marking the best NCAA finishes for Tufts in those events since 2017. The men's 200 freestyle relay team also made waves, breaking the school record and finishing seventh nationally, a testament to their collective effort throughout the season.
In basketball, the Tufts University men's team saw their season come to a close in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division III tournament, falling 69-66 to top-ranked Trinity College. The Jumbos fought hard, with Joshua Bernstein setting the tone early in the game. Despite multiple opportunities to force overtime in the closing seconds, Tufts could not overcome the top-seeded opponent. This loss marks the end of a historic season for the Jumbos, who made significant strides in the national tournament.
