The Navy men's swimming and diving team capped off its season at the NCAA Championship in Atlanta, where it set two new school relay records. The Mids achieved a new standard in the 200 freestyle relay, clocking in at 1:16.70, which also broke the previous Patriot League record. This record-breaking team consisted of Ben Denman-Grimm, Lachlan Andrew, Henry Cain, and Preston Kessler. Additionally, the squad set a new benchmark in the 400 medley relay. Despite the impressive performances, head coach Bill Roberts expressed mixed feelings, noting the team's hopes for better outcomes in individual events while celebrating their overall achievements during a standout season.
In women's golf, the Midshipmen faced a tough match against Delaware on March 29, falling 4-3 in a closely contested match play event at the DuPont Country Club. Navy started strong, with individual victories from freshman Elizabeth Hang, junior Keira Howard, and senior captain Hallie Brisco, but could not maintain the lead as Delaware rallied to clinch the win. Hang defeated Victoria Rivera 2&1, while Howard edged Hyunji Kim by the same score. Brisco's victory came too late to alter the outcome, as Delaware secured the match with wins in the remaining contests. The women's golf team will look to rebound at the Terps Invitational on April 5-6 in College Park, Maryland.
