The Williams College women's ice hockey team celebrates significant individual achievements this week as seniors Erin Pye and Claire Murphy receive CCM/AHCA All-American honors. Pye, a standout goaltender, earns Second Team recognition after leading the Ephs to their second NCAA tournament victory and a third appearance in the Elite Eight. Murphy, a key forward, secures a spot on the Third Team. Their contributions helped propel Williams to an 18-5-5 record, marking the most wins in a season since 2018-19 and a successful NESCAC playoff campaign. Pye's accolades include being named NESCAC Player of the Year and a finalist for the prestigious Laura Hurd Award, underscoring her impact on the ice.

In track and field, both the men's and women's teams delivered strong performances at the Emory Thrills in the Hills meet. The women's team broke two school records, highlighted by Kate Tuttle's impressive 1500m victory in 4:26.06, which also set a personal best. The Ephs showcased their depth in the distance events, with Morgan Eigel and Jordan Liss-Riordan also placing in the 1500m. Tamar Byl and Kate Swann secured the top two spots in the 5000m, while Annika Paluska won the 800m and contributed to a first-place finish in the 4x400 relay alongside Ella Sukup, Claire Jensen, and Bella King-Harvey.

On the men's side, Keiyu Mamiya led the way with a first-place finish in the 1500m, clocking in at 3:52.47. The Ephs continued to excel in the 5000m, with Malcolm Oakes and Luke Zanuck finishing third and fourth, respectively. Henry Alexander's victory in the 3000m steeplechase, with a personal best of 9:12.70, further highlighted the team's strong showing. Both teams will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for their upcoming meets.
