The Williams College women's rowing team began its season with a commanding performance at the Skidmore Sprints on April 4, winning all three of its races against Wellesley, Skidmore, Franklin & Marshall, and Bryn Mawr. The third varsity eight, coxed by Charis Woo and stroked by Jordan Bose, surged ahead early, establishing a six-seat lead that they maintained throughout the race. Head coach Paula Thoms praised the team's unity and strength, indicating that their spring break training had prepared them well for the competition. The Ephs will look to build on this momentum in their next regatta.

Meanwhile, the men's crew team also opened its spring season at the Cayuga Inlet Invite in Ithaca, New York, on April 5. The Ephs showcased their prowess across nine races, achieving victories in multiple events. The first varsity eight set the tone with a strong win over Ithaca College, clocking in at 5:58.0. The second eight followed suit, finishing first in its race as well. Additionally, the Ephs' third varsity four boats secured wins against both the University of Rochester and Marietta. These solid performances signal a promising start to the season for the men's team.

In women's lacrosse, the Ephs faced a challenging matchup against the second-ranked Tufts University on April 2, ultimately falling 17-9. Junior midfielder Reece Willison led the Ephs with three goals, marking her second hat trick of the season. Despite a valiant effort, including a strong third quarter where they outscored Tufts, the Ephs were unable to overcome the early deficit established by the Jumbos. Charlotte Cote made a career-high 15 saves in goal, demonstrating resilience against a potent Tufts offense. The Ephs will seek to regroup as they prepare for their next contest.
