Navy basketball's Aidan Kehoe concludes the 2025-26 season as the NCAA leader in field goal percentage, achieving a remarkable 73.1 percent. This accomplishment not only sets a new Navy single-season record, surpassing the previous mark of 64.4 percent held by David Robinson, but it also places Kehoe in elite company as one of only two Midshipmen to lead the NCAA in any statistical category. In addition to his shooting prowess, Kehoe ranked among the top-10 in several other categories, including double-doubles and total rebounds, capping off a standout year.
In track and field, Nathan Kent and Jason Keiser earned accolades following their performances in the annual Star Meet against Army, where Navy narrowly claimed victory, 103-100. Kent was instrumental, anchoring the 4x400-meter relay team to victory and winning both the 400-meter and 200-meter sprints, with his 200-meter time ranking as the second-fastest in school history. Keiser also excelled, winning both hurdle events and contributing crucial points to the team's success. Both athletes received recognition as Patriot League weekly award winners, with Kent also being named Co-Athlete of the Week alongside women's lacrosse player Mikayla Williams, who had a standout performance against Army.
The Navy men's golf team concluded its regular season at the Mountaineer Invitational, finishing 17th with a total score of 906. Seniors Chip Deegan and Jack Tarzy led the Midshipmen, both tying for 63rd place. Deegan started strong but faltered in the final round, while Tarzy improved significantly with a 3-under par finish in his last round. The team faced tough competition, including five ranked opponents, and now looks ahead to the Patriot League Championship.
