Lehigh University senior Yuki Zhu has been named Patriot League Co-Golfer of the Week following her performance at the Rutgers Invitational, where she tied for 21st place with a score of 22 over par 235. Zhu rebounded from a challenging opening round of 83 to shoot 77 and 75 in the subsequent rounds, showcasing her resilience with two birdies and a strong final round featuring 14 pars. This marks Zhu's second Golfer of the Week award this spring, and she has been Lehigh's top finisher in the last five tournaments. The Mountain Hawks will next compete at the Patriot League Championship, scheduled for this weekend at the Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Maryland.
On the men's side, Lehigh's golf team tied for fourth place at the ABARTA Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational, concluding the tournament with a total score of 589. Junior Matthew Quinn led the Mountain Hawks with a three-over-par 147, tying for 14th place. His final round included four birdies, while senior Jake Roth finished just one stroke behind, tying for 19th place. Aiden LeBlanc and Ryan Cronin also contributed to the team's solid performance, finishing tied for 25th and 32nd, respectively. The strong showing sets the stage for the upcoming Patriot League Championship.
In wrestling, Lehigh celebrated its 2025-26 season at the annual Lewis Wrestling Dinner, hosted by All-American Nathaniel Brown. The event featured reflections from head coach Pat Santoro and a highlight reel showcasing the team's achievements, including their second consecutive EIWA championship, marking the program's 40th title. Sophomore Luke Stanich was honored as the Outstanding Athlete for his significant contributions, finishing third at the NCAA Championships and earning All-America honors. The event underscored the team's successful campaign and individual accolades as they look ahead to next season.
