Dartmouth men's golf concluded its regular season with a commendable performance at the Roar-EE Invitational, finishing fourth overall. Tyler Brand emerged as the standout player, tying for eighth place with a two-round total of -3, including a first-round score of -2 (70) and a second-round -1 (71). His teammate Luke Harper also made a notable contribution, finishing tied for 14th with a total of -1, while Fin Szafnauer's opening round of -4 (68) marked a strong finish to his first-year season. The team’s efforts earned Brand recognition as one of The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.
In track and field, the Big Green showcased their talents at the UConn Northeast Invitational and the Sean Collier Invite. Jack Tan excelled in the pole vault, winning with a personal best of 5.00 meters. Winston Morgan made history with a sixth-place all-time finish in the 200 meters (21.33) and a fifth-place all-time finish in the 400 meters (47.65). On the women's side, Veronika Simova set personal records in both the 200 meters (24.92) and the 400 meters (55.56). Mariella Schweitzer also shone, winning the long jump with a mark of 5.91 meters and finishing third in the 400-meter hurdles (1:00.40), which ranks third in program history.
The Dartmouth sailing team competed in two regattas over the weekend, finishing 13th at the NEISA Open and 10th at the Women's Fleet Race Championships. The open team accumulated 229 points, while the women's team showcased their skills with several top finishes, including a win in one of their races. The Big Green will continue to build on these performances as they prepare for upcoming competitions.
In men's basketball, the coaching staff has been bolstered by the addition of Amir Bell and Eamonn Kearney as assistant coaches for the 2026-27 season. Bell, previously with Stanford, brings valuable experience and a strong background as an Ivy League player, while Kearney adds depth to the coaching team. This strategic move aims to enhance the program's competitive edge moving forward.
